Windows 10: Pin wont work requires admin logon but cant get to it, keeps asking for Challenge Phrase ??...

Have managed to lock myself out of pc, it is now asking for pin to login, fine, then tells me an administrater has locked machine get them to login. Again there is no way to do that or shows any option of entering password only pin then after four attempts it then asks for Challenge Phrase, no idea what that is or even remembering setting such a thing up. So now cant get back into my own personal desktop pc, running Win11 and getting very frustrated.

Do not have a Challenge phrase

Hi my daughter logs on to her laptop using a pin but her friend input the wrong pin several times and now we need a Challenge phrase. I set her laptop up and never entered a challenge phrase and I didnt have create an administrator logon. I have restarted
laptop several times but It keeps asking for a challenge phrase. Please help

First, "Challenge Phrase" is a new approach taken by Microsoft to thwarting brute force attacks or cyber trespassers. This attack involves a simple process of trying all common or likely PIN codes over and over until the correct code is finally discovered.
When a PIN gets entered incorrectly four times in a row, users are sent to a different screen where they are requires to enter a specific phrase.

May I know what are you trying to do before the challenge phrase prompted?

And what do you mean by nothing happens? Did this mean you where directed to another windows?

Challenge phrase keeps popping up- how to disable?

So my mom has the Parental Controls settings up on my computer. I keep entering the wrong PIN on my login screen (I know what it is) and it gives me the Challenge Phrase challenge- standard protocol. So I enter the phrase, it gives me the PIN entry again, I login, lock, and start over.

Except...

When I reboot my computer and attempt to sign in with my PIN it gives me the Challenge Phrase challenge- and I haven't even entered a PIN yet!!

I don't have admin privileges either and my mom is super busy- I'd like a solution (if possible) that does NOT require my mom to come put her PIN in.
