Windows 10: Pin

After reading a few remarks and questions posted with several different Dates, a lot anything from just a month, to a year, to years. What I want to know is it is now November 10th 2018 and all of a sudden I have to create a PIN. Holly Cow, when and where did this change come about and why are folks STILL asking WHY?


I am just about ready to go back to Windows 7 Pro and for this Windows 10 for the time being until I know something. I paid for my own LAPTOP and I don't like being forced to have a pin. If Windows 10, whatever comes in the future, keeps requiring thing I don't like on my Own Personal PC in the future, I want to know who I can send my receipt for future PC's I purchase.

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar


Does anybody know how to clear the "Pin suggested" list on the "People bar"?

Contacts are added to the "Pin suggested" list once you've pinned and unpinned them. But there seems to be no obvious way to remove them from that list.

After playing around with this feature and pinning and unpinning many dummy contacts, it's rather annoying to see them in the "Pin suggested" list when you click on the "My People" icon in the taskbar.

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to Change PIN password:

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then Click on accounts.
• Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
• Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar

I can pin and unpin People contacts to the taskbar without problems, but these contacts will still show up on the "Pin suggested" list. It's this list I want to clear, because some contacts or double and some are dummy contacts. It's not that big of a deal, but it's rather annoying to have them suggested to me.
