Windows 10: PIN

Hi!
I have windows 10 installed. And account is not local. Is there any way to Chang PIN via Microsoft account? If i change password via Microsoft account it is possible to logging using PIN. *sarc

Thank you for posting to the forum regarding the issue you are having pinning tiles to your start screen. This is certainly an odd behavior and sounds to be related to either the applications themselves or your phone's software. We have a couple things
that may help to resolve the issue.



First, soft reset the phone. This can be done by pulling the battery for about 2 minutes, replacing the battery and restarting the phone. To see if this makes any difference, unpin some of the applications that had been giving you trouble. Once the phone
restarts, try to pin the application again.



If you have the same result, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the application to your phone. From the application list, tap and hold the app and you will find a uninstall option. After you have unintstalled the application, go to the marketplace
and download the app to your phone. Try to pin the application to your start screen.



The final thing we can try is a hard reset of the phone. This will send the phone back to it's factory state. Before you do this, please back up all your media,

Outlook.com - Microsoft free personal email and
Outlook.com - Microsoft free personal email. All this information from your phone should be listed on these sites. Text message history and game progress will be rest. Once you are ready to reset the phone, tap settings
> about > reset phone.



If the issue continues with just these specific applications, it is either and issue with the app or an issue with your phone. We would be happy to test the application. Please provide us the exact name of any and all apps that exhibit this behavior.

I'll try a soft reset.



However, it's not an application that's failing to pin, it's a local business from the map search results. I've never had problems with anything else failing to pin.

Yes, you can change your own account's PIN, even after changing the password.

Thanks Brink But, I need to change it via Microsoft account. that's mean remotely. I know its cannot do. there is no option for PIN. Only password can. *Shock

 

Yeah, you can't change the PIN remotely. That can only be done on the local PC itself. *Sad
