Windows 10: Pincode entered wrongly too many times

    Pincode entered wrongly too many times


    Hi All,I get the below message when the pc is turned on:I see my profile picture, below I see my name and below there the following text translated from dutch to english:"You have entered your pincode too many times. If you want to try again, you need to reboot your pc."When I reboot the pc, it goes back to the same screen and I don't have any options to choose from. When I reboot the pc I can go into the BIOS, but if I boot it up normally I always get this message.Anybody any idea?Thanks

    login with pincode is no longer possible after system restore

    Someone from other post with same issue found the solution for my problem.

    Resetting alone did not do the job but after suggested following 'Forgot my pincode' procedure making new pincode (same is possible) I had to login again to Microsoft account and that straightened things out again.

    After restart I could login again with pincode!

    Problem solved Pincode entered wrongly too many times :)

    Pincode login unabled?

    As of today, May 8th 2020, all of a sudden I canot log in with my pincode anymore. I have tried several times to restore/change my pincode, I even received a code from Microsoft support 3 times, but to no avail. I keep getting the message: "Oops, something
    went wrong, don't worry, it is probably our mistake" Well, that doesn't really help, now does it? Anybody else familiar with this problem and know how to solve it?

    Pincode entered wrongly too many times

    login with pincode is no longer possible after system restore

    after using system restore the pincode login which I configured is no longer available. That is not strange after a system restore to an earlier time before I chose my pincode however the pincode is still available but no longer possible to choose as a login
    option.
