Windows 10: Ping spiking in games causing me to get disconnected. My ping everywhere else when its...

About several days ago I started experiencing this issue. It happens at random and I can't pinpoint what is causing it. I'm using ethernet and have updated the drivers for the ethernet controller. This issue was weird because it wasn't present a week ago. Unfortunately, I have fixed 5G wireless internet T-Mobile due to living in a semi-rural area, but this wasn't happening last week. I even have a command prompt window constantly pinging Google when I'm in the game to see if the ping also reflects what's happening in the game, but the command prompt reports consistent ping that I get. Hi Pranchit, thanks for the reply. May I know if you experience this ping spikes on all of your games? You can check this links for proven troubleshooting methods that fixed high ping issues (you can skip the steps that you've done).

Hi Dan. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you.

You could always shrink C in Disk Mgmt and Clean Install WIndows 10 in a Dual Boot to try it on that laptop: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

This way you can decide if you want to keep it on the PC, go back and forth, use both, or use one and keep the other in reserve. If you decide you want to keep it I'll show you how to still get a free WIndows 10 license, just skip the key during intsall.
