Windows 10: Pinned apps are all blank

Suddenly my pinned apps are all blank in my taskbar. When I put the mouse cursor it will show the name of the apps like google, notepad, etc.. however there is no icons or picture in the taskbar. I checked in the start menu and there is no problem there. I tried to unpin it from the taskbar but still not working. I restart the computer and same issue happen. I need this to fix.

How to pin app shortcut to desk top?

I suggest you to follow below steps to change pin the apps on the desktop screen and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to perform the below steps to add the apps on desktop.

• Click on the “Start button” and locate the App that you want to pin to Desktop.
• Right click on the “App” and click on “More options”.
• Then click on “Open File location” and right click on the app, click on “Send to” option.
• Then select “Desktop (Create shortcut)”.
• Go to “Desktop” and check whether the app is located or not.

Or Step 2: To add shortcuts to the desktop

• Press and hold or right-click the desktop, tap or click New, and then tap or click Shortcut.
• Enter the location of the item or tap or click Browse to find the item in File Explorer.

Newly Pinned Icon On Taskbar Appears As A Blank Page Icon

Hi,

It is possible that you have not pinned the correct executable file. To properly isolate your issue with pinned icon on the task bar, kindly verify the following queries below:

• Did you receive an error message when clicking the blank page icon?
• Have you tried deleting the pinned icon from the taskbar and try to pin the icon again?
• Have you tried opening the file location of the app and pin it again on the task bar?

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar

Does anybody know how to clear the "Pin suggested" list on the "People bar"?

Contacts are added to the "Pin suggested" list once you've pinned and unpinned them. But there seems to be no obvious way to remove them from that list.

After playing around with this feature and pinning and unpinning many dummy contacts, it's rather annoying to see them in the "Pin suggested" list when you click on the "My People" icon in the taskbar.
