Windows 10: Pitch black background in apps in W11 with dark mode?

I would like to have a completely absolute, fully black background in my apps. There should not be light at all. Like zero, where no light is required with the dark mode. Is it possible to adjust W11 so that the background becomes completely black? Like in my browser? I am attaching a screenshot snippet showing the 'black' in the Explorer, which is more like a bright grey, and the black in the browser as it should be in windows apps too.

Programs and Features has a black background in dark mode

I have a weird problem where the programs list background in Programs and Features applet is dark gray/black, as you can see, making the entries almost unreadable:





It's strange because no other Control Panel applets have this issue, and another machine does not have this problem when dark mode is on. This machine has had this issue for ages, and it persisted even after refreshing Windows. Any idea on how to fix it without having to revert to light scheme or use the dreadful Apps and Features app?

Can I change dark mode too black color in Windows 10 to a mild dark color like in Ubuntu?

Dear Windows users and experts,

I am using Windows 10 1909 pro version. In the dark mode of Windows I see the color is too dark (pitch black). But if I see in Ubuntu or Mac Ox dark mode color those are more mild dark color. Can anyone suggest me if it is possible to change the dark
color to like those mild varsion of the dark like in Ubuntu or Mac os.

Dark mode

Because of low vision I have to use Dark Mode to view all text. White text on a

black background is the only format I can use on my PC, iPhone & iPad. Currently

I am using a Windows 7 desktop in High Contrast Black. This lets me view emails, Word docs

and Excel in “Dark Mode”. However, to print a normal (black text on white) page I

have to change to High Contrast White.

From my IOS 13.6 iPhone/iPad’s Dark Mode I can print a normal page without

leaving Dark Mode. I want to change to a Windows 10 desktop with the same Dark

Mode print capabilities as I have on my iPhoe/iPad. Unfortunately, many Apps are

not Dark Mode friendly forcing frequent toggles to “Invert Colors” If Word/Excel are

not Built-in Windows 10 Apps will I have the same Dark Mode print issues I have in

Windows 7? Thanks.
