Windows 10: Pixel Format Not Accelerated Minecraft Java On Windows 10

Hi,​

I have the following computer and software:​

Windows Edition: Windows 10 Enterprise​

System Info:​

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz 3.00GHz​

Installed Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (3.47 GB usable) ​

System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64 -based processor​

Graphics Card/Video Card: Intel(R) Q45/Q43 Express Chipset(Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)​

PC: Lenovo Desktop PC​

Whenever I try to run Minecraft Java the "Pixel Format Not Accelerated Error" shows. Please tell me how can I fix this. There are no updates for the video card driver and Minecraft was working perfectly fine before I upgraded it from Windows 7 to Windows 10.​

Minecraft "Pixel format not accelerated" on Dell latitude E4300

I had the same problem on e4300. While Windows 10 is not compatible with Minecraft, you can get windows 7 as well by dual booting,

Dual booting is where you make a new partition and create a new os on that partition,

First I got weird error referencing a fail move of the tmp file to exe, so I manually moved C:/Program Files (x86)/Minecraft/tmp/tmpLauncher.tmp to same directory as MinecraftLauncher.exe which fixed that. Then when trying to click Play I get:

Tried:

• Problematic frame or pixel format not ac...
• reinstalled minecraft from
  https://minecraft.net/en-us/download/
• checked resolution/display settings all set to reccommended
• updated java
• installed old version of java from
  http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-archive-javase8-2177648.html#jre-8u51-oth-JPR created oracle account, downloaded v.8u60
• changed game to launch from C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25\bin\javaw.exeto C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_60\bin\javaw.exe
• used Intel Driver & Support Assistant to Identify your products and get driver and software updates for your Intel hardware. and it said "Sorry, no software updates are available." from

• Also tried changing resolution of game to the recommended. Unchanged it showed 854x480. Display recommended was 1600x900. changing to either one did not resolve it.
• Tried running game in compatibility mode
• Tried running game with the "troubleshoot compatibility" options
