Windows 10: Pixel7a not recognized as portable device in W11-no file transfer

Hello...I've been trying to have W11 recognize my Pixel 7a as a portable device so that I can transfer files, but after trying several suggested changes, I'm having no success.Device Mgr sees the Pixel under Bluetooth, Sound, Video & Game Controllers, and System Devices as a hands free device, but not under Portable Devices. I have Debugging turned on and using the File Transfer option. If I choose the PTP option under Default USB Configuration, File Manager recognizes the Pixel as a camera. When I display the Pixel internal storage, it shows the DCIM and Pictures directories for the phone

mozart wont register on portable devices

followed steps to troubleshoot error code c101002e,tried expand portable devices and my phone is not listed. Although zune does?

 

Windows 7 Phone is not recognized by Zune software and not listed in Device Manager as a portable device

I have already gone through Live Chat support, uninstalled and re-installed Zune software. I checked "forget this phone" from Zune software (at suggestion of technician). I followed all the suggestions and fix it recommendations but the phone isn't even
being recognized in Device Manager as a portable device. Has anyone have any other suggestions? The next thing I will do is check if there is something wrong with the syncing cord. I use it regularly as a wall charger. The phone is a Samsung Focus, 7.5.


Everytime I unplug my Zune, Portable Device dispears from Device Manager. I've looked at Other (there is none) and Unknown Devices (none exist). I'm not sure what else can be done. Can someone help please.
