  1. pixelated screen problem ever since I bought my new pc and monitor

So a few months ago I bought a new pc and a 1080p fhd monitorthe screens always been very pixelated thoughI cant really tell if its a problem with the monitor or the pc, sometimes when I go on and off of fullscreen on youtube videos or games things go normal for a few seconds but it always ends up getting pixelated again not even a few seconds afterIve tried most fixes, updated and reinstalled my driver, my pc resolution is the same as the monitors resolution which is 1080p but nothing really seems to help, at this point any new fix is helpful, Ive been thinking of replacing my monitor but Im

  2. Second monitor appears pixelated sometimes

Before we get started, here might be some setup information that may be worth noting. My primary monitor is a 1080p, 1920 x 1080 (native) using an HDMI to DVI. My secondary monitor is a SONY TV 1360 x 768 (native) using an HDMI. Both are connected to my graphics card and not the motherboard. I have always had this setup but I have not always had this issue.

Preforming the following actions may cause my second monitor to appear pixelated.
    • Getting a web browser out of maximized mode by click dragging the window or using the restore button
    • Using full screen on the secondary monitor
    • Dragging a window into the second monitor, sometimes

In order to temporarily solve this issue I must apply a change to any display using the Nvidia Control Panel. Using the Windows display settings to apply a change does not always fix the issue. Also note that after the second monitor goes pixelated, my computer does not detect a change in any display's resolution settings.

So far I have tried the following fixes to no avail
    • Keeping display drivers up to date
    • Using a DDU to wipe display drivers clean and start anew
    • Using the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter

I have tried to use capture software to screenshot the pixelation but it can not see it. I have to use a camera to show what it looks like instead.

Capture software is not capable of detecting the pixelation so I have recreated what it looks like on screen. Use this as reverence if the pictures look bad.

  3. New used monitor Pixelated

    Hello,

We'd like to get more information regarding this so we could better check and provide a more established resolution. Please provide the following information:

    • Does the pixelated fonts on websites persists on the other web browsers?
    • Do you have other user account on your PC? If so, please check if the same issue happens.
    • Can you please confirm the current build of your Windows 10?

(Type winver into the Cortana search box, then hit Enter.)

Meanwhile, you may update your Display Adapter to resolve your concern. To do so, please follow these steps:

    • Open Device Manager.
    • Expand the Display Adapter.
    • Right-click on the Graphics card and select Properties.
    • Under Driver tab, click Update Driver.
    • Restart your PC.

We're looking forward to your response.

New 2560x1440 screen - pixelated fonts and icons and suggesting 200% scaling

    Hi,

I have just connected a new 31.5" to my Windows 10 PC and am running it at its native resolution of 2560x1440. This results in extremely pixelated fonts and icons on the desktop and in applications.

Windows 10 suggests 200% scaling, which makes the text readable but massively reduces the available workspace on the screen, and that's the reason I bought it.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled my video drivers (AMD Radeon 5800) and have also downloaded and applied all of the latest Windows updates.

Please advise how I can get Windows to display fonts and icons correctly at the native resolution of the monitor.

    Thanks,

    Simon.
