Windows 10: Plan to reinstall Windows 11 Pro on 2nd hand laptop

Hey all, I bought a 2nd second laptop with Windows 11 Pro that was included in the price. The PC shop was selling laptops without OS as well for cheaper price.I encountered accounts of previous usage, so I worry that the laptop is not cleared completely. Thus, I want to reinstall the BIOS and Windows 11.The Windows is activated with digital licence. I still didn't sign in with my Microsoft account, perhaps if I sign in the digital licence will be linked to my account.So, how to approach the reinstallation without losing the Windows licence. Should I sign in first then reinstall? Or it doesn'

I bought a 2nd hand laptop with an exception in Windows Security!!

I bought a 2nd hand laptop (HP Probook 430 G5) today with Windows 11 pre installed. On checking it out I found an exception entered in Windows Security. The file is SppExtComObjHook.dll and is located in C:|Windows\system32\

I contacted the seller (a refurbisher of 2nd hand laptops) and he says not to be concerned, dismisses google searches that mention that it's not good and insists it was put there as part of the upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

What's your opinion? Should I be concerned?

HP pavillion laptop not detecting 2nd monitor with Windows 11 pro

I purchased a new HP Pavillion laptop with Windows 11 Pro and a new Acer monitor to connect to laptop. Laptop isn't detecting 2nd monitor via HDMI. I would appreciate any help you could provide.
