Windows 10: Play MP3 Audio on a webserver computer

Hello, I've run into a problem and have not been able to find a solution in any forum. I have a local website running on a small internal network. My "old" setup is Windows 10, Visual Studio 2008 ASP.NET & VB.NET, SQL Server 2008 R2 and IIS.The server computer has a drive D where a MP3 library stored. The artists, titles, file paths and file names are stored in a SQL Server datatable.I display the artist and title in a searchable list in a gridview. My goal is to be able to click on a title and play the MP3 on the server not a client. I also want to be able to cancel the audio at any ti

No sound while playing audio and video files.

I appreciate if you could answer to a few questions to narrow down to the issue.

• Which is the application that you are using to play the files?
• Did you try the same on a different player?
• Did you perform any troubleshooting steps?

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to check if the volume is set low or in mute state in Volume Mixer.

• Right click on sound icon.
• Open Volume Mixer check for the application that you are playing the files with and increase the volume and check.

If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to run “Playing audio” troubleshooter to diagnose and fix the issue.

Follow these Steps to run Playing Audio Troubleshooter in Windows 10.

1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

2. Select Troubleshooting.

3. Select View all on the top left corner.

4. Click on Playing audio.

How to play mp3 music on windows10?

Although this question sounds ridicouluous, I was not able to play a list of mp3 music on my new Windows 10 computer. Here is what I want to do:

Mark a list of mp3 files inside a directory, and have them all played back.

So, for example, I have 15 mp3 files inside a directory, I want to have them played back one at a time, automatically, without selecting a tracck after a track.

Is there a tool available for windows 10?

I tried for one hour and did not find a solution. Here is what I have tried:

• kodi, Plex: Did not work at all, one asked me to download a file myself, which was not there.
  
• MediaPortal: Not working
  
• MusicBeee: Probably codec missing
  
• 5kplayer: Works, BUT ONLY FOR ON GIVEN FILE AT A TIME. Unable to select a list of files...
  

So is there a solution to my problem? I do not require video playback, and I do not need an equalizer or some other stuff. Just to be able to PLAY A LIST OF MP3 MUSIC! Argh!

 

Edge Browser not Playing Mp3 audio

Hi

Edge browser (Win 10) will not play Mp3 audio embedded in web sites. Explorer/chrome all work okay.

Can anybody help please.
