Windows 10: Players have poor microphone quality with Nvidia GeForce recording?

Hello,

i used to have the problem that my microphone sounds very badly "electric" during a shadowplay recording. I was able to fix this problem.

But now my teammates always sound the same. When I talk to them, everything is normal, but in the recording they always sound very "electric", whether in the Discord or the Fortnite voice channel.

Recording From Internal Microphone Poor Quality

I have a Toshiba L-50 laptop and recently the recordings I make on the internal microphone have become very poor quality - the sound is cutting out regularly. Can anyone help ?

We would like to isolate this issue that you're having right now with the quality of your recordings. Have you tried to check other kind of microphones for your recordings? There's a possibility that it might be due to the built-in microphone of the device.
How about recording software? Have you tried to download other software that we can use to check if it can be enhance?

I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Nvidia GeForce graphic card
driver from the manufacturer website and check, if it works. Refer to the following steps to uninstall the
Nvidia GeForce graphic card driver from the Device Manager.



a. Click on Windows key + X key and then, select Device Manager.

b. Locate and expand “Display Adaptor” in the Device Manager Window.

c. Right-click on the “Display Adaptor” and click on “uninstall" the
Nvidia GeForce graphic card driver.

d. Restart the computer and check, if it works.
