Windows 10: Please assist! Microsoft family safety

Hi all,Please help me as this is doing my head in.I've spent well into 3 hours via live chat trying to rectify this issue.Long story short. I purchased a new Windows 11 laptop for my soon to be 8 daughter. She already has an email address and was set up as a child account.I wiped and freshly installed windows 11 on it and signed into her account as an administrator. My mistake The issue arose when I was downloading google chrome and couldn't work out why it refused to work. After 2 hours I and assumed something went wrong when I was setting it to the default browser corrupting something.So I

Before we proceed, we require more information to assist you better.

• Which web browser are you using?
• Are the settings on the Family Safety options on your computer are the same with the one on
  http://familysafety.live.com?

I suggest you to login with your parental account and check if you are able to manage the family settings.



If the issue still persist, it might appears that the Child account is not configure correctly. I suggest you to remove the Family Safety and configure it again.

How do I remove Family Safety?

Now, setup Family Safety.

After creating the child account, you can then go to the Family Safety website, login using the parent account and then manage your child's restrictions and monitoring options.

• Are you logged into a Microsoft Account or a Local account
• Which web browser are you using on the system?
• Are the settings on the Family Safety options on your computer are the same with the one on
  http://familysafety.live.com?
  

Sometimes Family safety settings can be bypassed by using a proxy server, or by using unsupported browsers (those that use SSL “always on” are not supported). It appears that the Child account may not have been configured correctly. I would suggest
you to remove the Family Safety and configure it again.
