  1. PLease Help im not an experienced computer guy , but i know there is big problem


    IM kep being asked to update my windows 10 to latest whatever .. i generaly go ahead after reading few little headlines , so whent ahead and did this big update .. once it finished and rebooted the system looked at the new install and said need to reverse all the updating just done ..man it ook long time iv had to go throught this over ten times because ever hour pop up comes up and sais you need to install latest upgrade so iv just been pushing the one hour more button so i can get through movie or work whtever ..the results are predictable you must have some safegaurd for people like myself who dont mess around with thier pc much just basic functions so i havent done anything to create this madness please help me and i will not trust that remote access pc to pc as iv no idea who u are ,please u must understand my predicament .

  2. Big problems with Windows 10 after installation.

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

    I understand the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I will definitely assist you.

    This issue may occur due to the outdated display driver or come file are corrupt. For now do not re-install Windows 10, try the below steps and check if it helps resolve the issue.

    Step 1. Update the display driver.

    I would suggest you to update Display driver. Follow the below steps:

    • Press Windows key + X and click on Device manager.
    • Locate for Display Adaptor and expand it.
    • Right click on the adaptor and click on update.
    Step 2. (Unspecified error 0x8000ffff),

    For the issue error 0x8000ffff, I suggest you to check if the Volume Shadow Copy service is running on your computer or not.
    To check for the same follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R, type “services.msc” on the box and hit Enter.
    • Locate for “Volume Shadow Copy” and check if the service is started.
    • If not ‘Start’ the service by right clicking on it.
    If the service was already started, I would suggest you to stop the service and restart the same.

  3. Experiencing slowness onthe computer.

    Hi,

    I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down to the issue.


    • What is the make and model of the computer?

    • Was it an upgrade or an update?

    • If it was an upgrade, which was the previous operating system installed on the device?

    • If it was an update which update did you install?
    I would like to inform you that it is bit difficult to pin point on what exactly causes the issue, however we will narrow down the issue one by one and find a suitable solution.

    As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to run the
    System Maintenance troubleshooter which finds and clean up unused files and shortcuts and performs maintenance tasks.

    • Press Windows key and type Troubleshooting.
    • Select Troubleshooting and hit Enter.
    • Click on View all in the left pane of the window.
    • Select System Maintenance.
    • Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.
    Also check if the computer is using its full memory.

    • Press Windows key + R and type msconfig.
    • Go to Advance options and check if you have chosen use Maximum memory.
    If not, I suggest you to place a check mark, restart the computer and check if that helps.

    Thanks for all the replies guys people in this forum are really helpful then those in guru3d forum they didnt help me out and even started a browl over my problem but as you said that my card is ancient i know that but its not mine but its my brothers one and hes kinda small to give a7900 to him. So you see as you said if it was my card i would have flushed it in the toilet but i cant because i paid for it *Laugh :laugh: so thats why i am gonna do what you people suggested me and gave me the bios of the old 9100 card if that wont work than its scrapyard for this card so okz thanks i will post when i am done checking with this bios.
