Windows 10: Please help me delete 2 files that are permanently stuck on my desktop

I tried to rename one of them. and that created a duplicate. Here are 2 screenshots. The 1st file was saved as a .pdf....but none of my programs can open the file because it's "too long". And of course I cannot delete the files.

Can some one tell me how to permanently delete files that i delete from the recycle bin.?

 

windows 10 deleted my desktop files

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

• Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
• Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
• Click on Users, select your User name
• Go to desktop folder

Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.

 

App for deleting files while being used by another process...

I finally got rid of these 2 files, I ended up going into the command prompt in XP and typing in the command to delete it, just as it prompted are u sure i ended task on explorer and then accepted the delete, the files that were stuck on my desktop finally went away but thanks for your help!
