Windows 10: Please help me the pin does not work and there is an error in the system

Help my pc says the system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application windows 11 plus your pin is no longer available my laptop is hp envy×360 their are two options in signing the pin both pins did not work the fingerprint scanner and the pin itself please help me I need to pass requirements in university. I ALSO DON'T WANT TO RESET THE LAPTOP CUZ MY IMPORTANT FILES ARE GONNA GET LOST

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.

 

Can't create pin for login. Pin stopped working

To resolve your concern about creating pin to your computer, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Navigate to C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\NGC (click to get permission when prompted).
• Delete the contents of that folder (delete everything in that folder, but leave that folder and everything above it).
• Go back to settings, accounts, sign in options.
• Your non-working pin will now be gone, and you can just click 'add a pin' and set it again.
