windos 10 instalation after update form windows 7

Dear Sirs:

I by my PC from HP and came with Windows 7, when Microsoft ofer a free update to windows 10 and install a windows 10, but the problem came when mu hard disk have a head scratch and I need tio reinstall windos 10 and request me a PRODUCT KEY and I dpnt know
how to handle these, could you help me to solve my problem.
