Windows 10: Please help my system is having multiple problems and I can't fix ANY of them after trying...

I'm using windows 10. The first problem I noticed is my search bar doesn't show any results, another problem is my mouse keeps blinking the loading icon. My settings apps do not work as they crash quickly when I click on them and my boot time takes slightly longer. I've tried resolving each problem like running cmd commands on the internet, etc... and NONE worked, I still have all of these issues intact and squeaky clean. I suspect it's a virus' doing and I've tried full scanning the system with Kaspersky free but well I'm still here typing this question please help.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

• What is the exact issue are you facing with sound?
• Are you getting any error message?
• Have you installed all the pending Windows updates?

• Go to “settings” and click on “update and security”.
• Under tab “Windows update”, click on the icon “check for updates”.
• Then once you find the pending updates install it and check.

Multiple BSODS


For the dump files, you should be able to access them via your microsoft account, share them and put the link here.

For now it is better to not do everything immediately, but work through it step by step.
This because there are only 2 dump files in the zip and you have mentioned to have more crashes.
Suggestions below are for the 2 dump files present in the zip file you provided.

Please remove Google Chrome as a test, it lately causes crashes for some people.

Because you have upgraded from windows 7 it is important to check the system files for corruption, missing files or other problems.
Please do the following:

• Open an admin command prompt
• Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
• When it finished reboot your system
• Open again an admin command prompt
• Enter sfc/scannow again

If sfc/scannow does NOT say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation", please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.
