Windows 10: Please Help Office 2016 Update Not Working

I hope i can get help here since i have been lucky before. I had to reformat my win 10 Pro 64 bit system. I installed office 2016 and every time i try to open it says it wants to update, and it crashes. I uploaded two screenshots. Very annoying. I tried 4 times uninstalling cleaning registry, also repair, no luck. But if i open an excel file or word file it opens no problem. But if i want to just open excel and choose new workbook, bingo it crashes. Please help anyone.

Calculator does not open in Windows 10 - why not?

Can you tell me what update went in that restored your calculator? Mine just updated overnight, but the calculator is still not working.

You can view the updates by typing Installed Updates into your search bar, selecting the View Installed Updates (Control Panel) option, and then look at the date that the update installed.

 

Windows update issue on windows 10

Windows update is getting failed on one of our machine for office 2016 and we are getting the error code 0x80070663: We are trying to push the updates from Kaseya application.

I would suggest you do a repair to the Office 2016 installation. This is easily achieved by going into Programs and Features (right click on the start button); select the Office 2016 entry and click on Change. You will then be given the option to repair your installation.

 

I did repair 4 times no luck. Thanks
