    Thank you for the update, David. Once you delete the CBS log file, it will generate again since it is the details of your system. We highly recommend using a larger storage since it will consume your space. For this, we suggest that you regularly do
    Defragmention and running the
    System File Checker scan and DISM command
    to your computer.

    Hi recr and welcome to Tenforums.

    Please follow this tutorial to run the sfc /scannow System File Checker, at least three times, with reboots in-between. Then run the command shown in option #5, at an elevated command prompt, to grab only the pertinent info out of the CBS log that we need. That text file will be small enough for you to upload here.

    SFC Command - Run in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

    Then please run Malwarebytes Antimalware Free so we're sure there are no infections. Before running the scan, make sure the definitions are updated, and in Settings>Detection and Protection, be sure to tick the box to scan for rootkits, and the selections for PUPs and PUMs should be set to Treat as Malware. You can start with a Threat Scan, and if anything is found, follow-up with a full scan of your OS drive (usually C drive).

    Please give us a little more detailed explanation of what's happening, so we can make good recommendations for you. *Smile

    First the taskbar went, then the ability to access movies and tv, now it's capping my allocated ram for anything at 1gig, ill give ur /scannow a go

    Done, although it didn't seem to help. I've decided to try and repair windows, although i get this error. Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet
    EDIT: I've tried MalwareBytes and a lot of other stuff.

    The corruption SFC finds is opencl.dll, this file is being replaced by Nvidia everytime you install the display drivers, it isn't a thing to worry about as it doesn't affect anything *Smile

    Thanks @axe0 for mentioning that. I saw that and figured it was nothing, but couldn't put my finger on a post at the time, to confirm.

    The error you posted seems to indicate problems with a firewall.
    What AV/Firewall are you using on the system?

    If you would like to do a repair to the system using an in-place upgrade, you'll need to do a little prep to the system first:

    Download the latest W10 ISO from MSTechBench.
    Uninstall any 3rd-party AV/Firewall
    Remove any system/hardware monitoring software (i.e. Speccy)
    Be sure the system is clean (run MBAM Free, include rootkit selection in scan)
    Backup your data

    Right-click the ISO and select MOUNT. Run setup.exe from the mounted ISO.
