Windows 10: Please Help WIth Java 17 Known as JDK 17

i Open the file and try to install it but nothing pops up even when i run it as admin and the old versions of Java are Deleted With The Proper Program And Also My System Is 64 Bit Please Help

Can't open .jar files using Java 17, please help!

When I try to open .jar files using java 17 the file doesn't open. I tried reinstalling Java 17, and it still didn't work. When I clicked open with>choose another app>more apps>look for another app on this PC>Java folder>jdk-17.0.4>bin. There I found two different java files java and javaw. I tried to open the files with both and it still didn't work. This is very frustrating because I can't install things that require java or I can't open .jar files.

 

Cannot install Java JDK in Windows 7

I cannot install Java JDK on this computer. Right in the beginning of the installation it comes up with error 2203.





I have looked at other posts about this but they did not help and they are old.

I launched the jdk-11.0.1_windows-x64_bin.exe as administrator and it does the same thing. I checked the permissions on the the C:\Windows\Installer folder security tab in properties and it has "System", "Adminstrators (as my account)" and "Everyone"
in the Group or User names. Both System and Administrators have everything checked in permissions. "Everyone" just has 3 read related check marks.

The C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp folder has "Owners Rights" and my account name but not as administrator like it is in the System folder, listed in Groups or user names. Owner rights has no check marks in permissions and my account has everything
checked.

This has been a problem for a long time and I have not been able to update to any other versions of Java JDK. The version that is on here is Java 6 update 20 from 5/17/11

This is so ridiculous not to be able to install so many different things because of this problem. Please help me get this fixed.

Java JDK not Detected

I cannot install Netbeans or using eclipse. It always give me error message to install java. I already install the latest JDK on my PC and my browser work fine using java right now. It seems the JDK is not detected. Please, help me!
