Windows 10: Please Read Before Updating to October 1809 Build !

For allot of people who have already tried the latest October 1809 Update, While some are successful in getting the update to install they are noticing files missing are deleted! To Help People I'm Posting these Instructions in Hopes that You will not Loss Your Most Valued Photo's Video's etc.


Do The Following Before Proceeding With The Update. While Microsoft Has stopped the update your system has probably already downloaded it so You can google Search how to remove the Update Cache and stop with the madness before it starts. however if you feel brave or Just think "Oh It won't happen to Me" Then Please read on and Strongly I'm WARNING YOU Take My Advice.


1. If You have an External Hard Drive Copy your most important Word Documents, Photos, Video's and Music or Audio Files to that External Hard Drive. "Note" If You Do Not Have an External Hard Drive Please Follow Step 2


2. For Those Of You Who Do Not Have External Hard Drives, You can Sign Up For Google Account with your Email from any service and Take advantage of the 17 Gig's Of Storage You can Get for Free.


3. Please If You can Afford to Spend some Cash Please Consider Buying Acronis True Image Software or another software Similar and Clone Your O.S. Drive, Is The Best To Do, If a Fail Happens You just Clone It Back to the O.S. Drive and Back up and Running.


4 Other Options are Creating a Restore Or Backup Image File or ISO. Use Demon Tools Even. Just Figure a Way to Back up Your Files, Because Once They Are Gone There is No Way to Get Them Back, especially Photo's of Your Kids.


I Hope This Give you some Insight as to what to do before Proceeding with this Update. To Many people have lost files, Myself I was smart enough to have a clone of my O.S. Drive from 6 to 8 weeks ago, so I didn't really loose that much. But this Update has now tried to install for the 5th time this year and has failed every time, this time though it corrupted my system so bad that I was not able to open any of my programs or application and my System fans and my Liquid Cooling Pump was forced to Max Turbo Mode and could not stop it. Windows 10 1809 is just a day old. My suggestion is to hold on till the first cumulative updates arrive.
