Hi there,I often use the start menu windows button to search for and open files. I press the windows button and then type in the file or document I'm looking for. In Windows 10, when you right-clicked on a document that came up in the start bar, you had options like copy and paste etc.I've ALREADY done the registry hack to restore the right-click context menu in file explorer windows, but it hasn't changed the right-click menu in the start bar search. If anyone knows how to tweak that, I'd appreciate it.Thanks,Adam

    :)

    Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
    What do you think?

  3. How can I restore new rtf document to right click context menu?

    Hello,

The context menu is controlled by ShellNew entries under the HKEY_Classes_Root in your Registry. To restore the New Rich Text Document to your context menu, you may follow the steps provided below:

    • Right-click on Start/Windows symbol on your computer.
    • Left-click on Command Prompt (Admin).
    • When the User Account Control opens, click on Yes.
    • In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, open type or
      copy & paste the following command: reg add "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.rtf\Word.RTF.8\ShellNew" /v Filename /t reg_sz /d Document.rtf
    • Press Enter to execute.
    • Type Exit.
    • Press Enter to close the Administrator: Command Prompt window.

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For
added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, refer to the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article.

Please read carefully - Restoring the options menu when you right click on a document after...

Feature suggestion: Add "Options" screen + add icon for it

    Suggestion:
The place for the options, namely the top left corner system menu, is a bit strange, most similar programs do not use it like that.
Most programs use a separate Options (or maybe Settings, whichever sounds best) screen.

So, I suggest for the menu items in the system menu to become like this:
    Restore
    Move
    Size
    Minimize
    Close
    Check for Update...
    Options
    Read Asic Quality
    Launch GPU-Z Instaler
    About...
(or maybe Always on Top option can also stay)

Also, optionally I suggest adding a Gear or maybe Wrench icon next to the Camera icon in top right.
When that Gear or Wrench icon is clicked, for the Options/Settings screen to appear.
Where we have the Tooltips, Always on Top, Tooltip language and the other options.

What do you think? Thanks for any comments!

NOTE: Also, if the Size system menu item as well as the Restore menu item are not needed, they can both be removed. It is not trivial, but there is a way. *Smile Please read carefully - Restoring the options menu when you right click on a document after... :)
