Windows 10: Please stop releasing unfinished updates, you are killing our computers.

My computer was working perfectly fine on the 16th, on the night of the 16th when i went to shut it down it automatically updated it. When i tried to turn it on on the 17th the light on the power button would flash but nothing else happened and the screen stayed blank. After several hours of attempting different methods of getting it to turn on, I took it into an expert professional who had had it for the past three days, when i got in contact with them today they told me they still have no idea what happened to it and several other people have brought in computers with the exact same problem. Releasing a patch to fix this won't help because, um, my expensive computer I need for my classes and career doesn't turn on, wich wich last I checked turning on is a prerequisite for downloading a patch. Please stop ruining perfectly fine computers. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my hardware so don't tell me I have outdated drivers. Fix this and please stop using your customers as free beta testers.

Alienware Area 51 m15x BIOS Update Released

If you were among the group of people experiencing overheating issues with your Alienware Area 51 m15x laptop, then there are some good news for you. A new BIOS update, version X29b P3A30 is now available. The update allegedly allows VGA fans to increase up to 5400 rpm and thus better cool the GPU. To obtain the new BIOS, you'll need to email the m15x support line (L: Area51_m15x@alienware.com). In reply you should receive a link to the BIOS .zip archive. Once you download the small file, Alienware recommends to follow the steps described in the Read full story marker.



Open Nero Ultra Edition, click Backup, and then click “Burn Image to Disc.” Next, select the file “m15x_x29b.iso from the unzipped folder.

• Plug your AC adapter in
• Disconnect all third-party peripherals
• Don’t turn off the computer or restart it during the update
• Don’t eject your DVD/Blu-ray drive during the update.

Steps:

• Open BIOS by tapping F12 during boot
• Set BIOS to boot from your CD-ROM drive first
• Save and exit
• Upon reboot, the BIOS flash update will proceed
• Click “Yes” through the prompts
• Restart

Printing stopped with November upgrade

I would suggest you check if the print spooler is running. Start/Stop print spooler service. Follow the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + R, type services.msc
  and press Enter.
  
• 
  From the list, locate Print Spooler service.
  
• 
  Double click on the service and select Stop.
  
• 
  Restart the computer, repeat step 1&2.
  
• 
  Double click on the service and check if the service is started.
