Windows 10: Please tell me how to download HP Support Assistant from Microsoft Store by sharing the...

I am an HP PC user who uses HP Support Assistant for various tasks such as checking my PC warranty and fixing network and printer issues that are a great alternative to the troubleshooters provided by the Windows operating system. It also provides driver updates on a monthly basis that I download from there only because Windows' optional driver updates have a bad reputation as per what I hear from other Windows users. However, the application encountered a bug earlier in my experience so I had to reset it via its App Settings in the Settings application. But for some really peculiar reason, it

Tried Even Setting Up A New Account User And Same Result

Part Of Windows Insiders Group Running

HP Support Assistant Not Blocked By My Wirewall

Any Suggestions ????

 

HP Support Assistant Icon disappeared from desktop -

I did follow these steps and HP Support Assistant was gone from my taskbar list. What I did notice on my desktop was that my HP printer was now on my desktop. I clicked on the printer and the same menu for HP Support Assistant comes up. So the HP Support
Icon is replaced by Printer ICON. Thank you for your help.

There are known issues with the HP Support Assistant app in Windows 10

Your best option is to take HP Support Assistant off your Startup Applications

If you ever need to contact HP Support, you can open the app from your Start Menu

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager

Click on the Startup Tab

See if HP Support Assistant is listed there

If it is, select it and click 'Disable'

Close Task Manager

Click your Start Button, type msconfig and hit Enter

When the System Configuration dialog opens, click on the Services Tab

Check the box marked 'Hide Microsoft Services'

In the remaining list See if HP Support Assistant is listed there , if it is uncheck it

Click Apply and OK

Restart your System and this annoyance will be gone . . .
