My PC locked up with many popups due to a "!!Dridex!! malware error" through Windows Defender after clicking on a Matzatlan restaurant menu link I did not save the actual url. Box with "Microsoft" and logo said to call Microsoft support at 1-855-912-2447. A strange person answered with another name, wanted a code from screen there was none and then seemed to know my PC had 17 hack attempts to my network in 48 hours and he would run clean and scan my PC. He was not helpful, engaging, responsive and repeated a canned response over again. I hesitated and he hung up. PC was responsive, I click

I have the same problem... I have been scammed via 1-855-366-5666 number. There needs to be a main/obvious phone number to Microsoft for verification that you are dealing with a valid individual!!
