Windows 10: Please, why is my password field and sign-in option missing?

Good day. I turned on my Acer aspire 4732z old PC but runs windows 10 update today and it's password field was missing. It was only telling me to setup my password which left the screen blurred when ever I clicked on it. I proceeded to make research on how to fix the problem. I tried ;booting in safe mode and resetting my PC while keeping my files and it still proved futile. Now the screen only shows a blurred screen with the ease of access icon and the wifi icon on the blurred screen when I tap any buttons in an attempt to sign in, with the password and sign-in options still missing.

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.

I suggest trying with this steps:

• Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
  
  (If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Search.)
  
• Enter sign, and then tap or click Change sign-in options.
  
• Choose the sign-in option you'd like to use, and then follow the instructions.

If you're using a local account with a password, you can delete the password to sign in without one. Try this steps:

• Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
  
  (If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Search.)
  
• Enter sign, and then tap or click Sign-in options.
  
• Under Password, tap or click Change.
• Verify the current password for your local account.
• Leave the New password, Reenter password, and Password hint fields blank, tap or click Next, and then tap or click Finish.

Windows 10 Lock screen - "Other user" option missing User name and Password fields

This is seen on domain joined Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB

Under some circumstances clicking the "Other user" option at the lock screen with a user logged in will not display the User name and Password fields. Using tab and enter to select the current user then "Other user" will make them display. Has anybody else
seen this issue?

Full repo instructions. There may be a quicker way to get into this state, but this is consistent:

• Have User1 logged in
• Lock the screen
• Enter an empty password 6 times for User1
• Windows will display "Welcome..." message for a few seconds, then "The password is incorrect. Try again."
• Clicking ok will go to the "Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to unlock" screen
• Click "Other user"
• Username and Password fields are missing

To get out of this state:

• Press Tab untill User1 is highlighted
• Press Enter
• Press Tab until "Other user" is highlighted
• Press Enter
• User name and Password fields are now displayed
