Windows 10: PLEXTOR PX-750A

I have the latest firmware update and Windows says it is in the Device Manager. It, however will not activate at all unless I eject a disc. It shows it as fine, and as having the software loaded to run but it will not work at all. I put a disc in, and it spins for too long and then just stops. I need to get this drive working, and obviously, you know who is no help in this respect. I have tried to find software updates, because it has all the firmware updates it can take. It just isn't working with Windows 10. Any help appreciated. Obviously it is an older drive like new however but it should still work because every item associated with it says it should, however it doesn't.

Plextor Announces PlexEraser PX-OE100E





Plextor today announced its new PlexEraser PX-OE100E CD/DVD destroyer. The new PlexEraser drive delivers a secure environmentally friendly method of destroying CD/DVD discs to security-conscious companies and individuals. The standalone unit operates without the need of a PC and is an alternative to disc shredders that are currently available. The Plextor PlexEraser PX-OE100E destroys CD/DVD discs by using a laser beam that kills off data recording portions of optical discs. Eight types of CD/DVD’s are supported with the PlexEraser PX-OE100E drive including CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, and DVD+R DL discs.
