Windows 10: Pls help: DPTF driver needed Toshiba P55W - HW ID included

Discus and support Pls help: DPTF driver needed Toshiba P55W - HW ID included in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A03&SUBSYS_F96A1179 need the right DPTF for this.     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A03&SUBSYS_F96A1179

    need the right DPTF for this. It is a satellite P55W-B5224 [which I do NOT recommend to any sane person]
    Toshiba does not reveal where they hid this driver. the system had 2 hard drive crashes in one year, this is a clean install on the replacement drive and I'm down to this one driver issue. hoping this will resolve the processor throttling [choking, actually] also [i7 ]

    so far no luck. I'm not wanting to randomly try the suggestions from other vendor but may have to...

    Something went wrong. Make sure your camera is connected and not being used by another app in windows 10

    Ok, I tried this but ran across a problem. On the Toshiba support page, there are no display drivers for the window 8/8.1 version of my laptop. Another thing I found that was strange is my computer is a p55w-c5316 4k. However, the Toshiba website only
    lists 3 that are close to this: p55w -c5314, p55w-c5317 4k, and p55w-c5321 4k. I looked through the all of these searching for the windows 8/8.1 version of the display drivers and there was nothing. I tried re-installing the windows 10 display drivers and
    that didn't help either. Furthermore, I couldn't find a single camera driver for any of these versions of laptops on the Toshiba website.

    Windows 10 upgrade truncated my model number.

    Toshiba SATELLITE P55W-B5112. After upgrade, the model number is truncated to P55W-B. This is shown in both System Info and by using the WMIC command. I see other Toshiba users have experienced the same thing.

    Is this expected on all PCs with the new update?

    tried that one this morning and it bluescreened. my own fault because when the installer ran it gave me the "old replace newer" which may mean either that the PCI device isn't associated with DPTF or it is misinstalled, which isn't very likely with win 10.

    so part of the issue is that the "PCI Data Acquisition"... moniker is mis-associated with DPTF, when in fact it is something diff.
    i don't know what. it is not card reader, or camera, or bluetooth, or keyboard/fn, ... all those are ok
