    Asus laptop stuck on aptio setup screen

    Asus laptop stuck on aptio setup utility screen. Ive done everything that’s been suggested with the Boot and Security but it still won’t work!!!

    Asus f550l aptio setup utility

    Hi I have a Asus f550l and it has been stuck in the aptio setup utility thing and I have tried all the thing that people have suggested plz help. Every time I follow the steps it takes me to a page saying reboot and select proper boot device or insert
    boot media in selected boot device and press a key I dont know what to do plz help

    Help! Stuck in Asus Aptio Setup Utility, after restarting the system screen turns black with one white underscore flashing

    The Aptio setup utility suddenly appeared when I switched on my Asus Ultrabook laptop. I'm currently using Windows 10. Tried to recover my laptop by following the suggestions offered in other threads but they are not working. What I have done are:

    • Select the Boot menu in the Aptio setup utility, select 'Launch CSM' and change to enable.
    • Select the Security menu n the Aptio setup utility, select 'secure Boot Control' and change to disable.
    • Select Save & Exit and press 'yes'.
    • Hold down the power button until the unit switches power off completely.
    • Switch back on and continually press the F9 button for about ten seconds; this should now allow the unit to boot up into the Windows Recovery menu.
    I pressed F9 repeatedly but laptop didn't enter Windows Recovery menu. Tried to force shutdown and on again but now showing a screen of Asus and Intel logo for seconds, then screen turns black with one white underscore flashing. What should I do? Please
    help!!
