So I recently got a 4k OLED tv and connected it to my computer. When I turned on HDR the screen froze to then go black and now I cannot use my computer at all. Even hard restarting it does nothing. My screens keeping flicking on and off. Not sure what I can do about it. Disconnecting the tv and hard restarting the computer makes it fine again but I cannot disable the HDR...Windows 11 64 bitAsus GTX 408032gb ddr5 ramI713900kf

  2. enabling viewing of computer content on tv using hdmi cable

yesterday I plugged the hdmi cable into the laptop and the tv and was able to watch a movie. Today I tried doing the same and all I got on the tv was HDMI3 in yellow at the top left hand corner of the black tv screen. There is no picture on the TV screen
    - it's just black. I purchased a new HDMI cable, plugged it in turned tv and laptop on same result - no picture on the TV just a black screen.

    Any suggestions?

  3. Laptop monitor is black but HDMI to TV works

So, I seem to be having the opposite problem of most. After updating my laptop to windows 10 the laptop monitor basically does not work - it's as if the graphics card does not see it. When I turn the computer on it shows me the dell logo with options to
open the boot settings, and it starts to show the graphics for loading windows and then just goes to a black screen. Like others I thought maybe it's the issue with thinking there's 2 monitors when there really are not because it's acting like my dual monitor
work computer at start-up, but none of the listed fixes worked. I tried to plug the computer into the TV via an HDMI cable and that does work but the laptop monitor goes from a 'light' black to an 'off' black. Of course the computer at that point only thinks
there's one monitor which is the TV when I go into the settings. I've tried every combination of plugging in and pulling out the HDMI at different points in the reboot process but I always end up in the same place of having to plug the laptop into the TV to
use it. It's as if the Intel graphics doesn't see the laptop monitor as an option. I also tried to update the graphics drivers but it says there are no available updates. Anyone else have this problem and a suggested solution so I can move my laptop away
    from the TV?!

Windows 10 black screen on PC when plugging in tv as an extended desktop with hdmi

I have a lenovo all in one touch screen PC running Windows 10. My issue is, when I plug in the hdmi cable from a tv to my PC to use it as an extended display, the PC screen goes black. This only happens when the PC is already running. If I connect everything
and turn the tv on first and then start my PC everything works as it should. But if i was to unplug the hdmi and then plug it back in the PC would go black again.

This wouldn't be a big deal except i use this PC for D.J.ing and karaoke. So i am constantly hooking up to different TV's. So if in the middle of a gig, if the tv gets turned off or even turned from the source my PC is extending to my screen
goes black and i have to shut down and restart my PC to get things working correctly. This is really bad in the middle of a gig. Looking for a fix or a trick to get my PC display back without having to shut off the music. Thanks.
