Windows 10: plugging in a usb sound continuously beeps on start up

its the plug in sound of a usb only happens on start up and for about 20 seconds continuously then stop and never happens again until next start up is it simply a usb port/the usb getting a crappy connection or is it my pc trying to tell me its dying lol

any help would be much appreciated

Laptop makes continuous beeping noise when using the USB port

I have recently bought this laptop (HP Power Pavilion 15) and I am using windows 10. When using a wired mouse and connecting it to the usb port, I hear a continuous beeping noise through my headphones. When the remove the usb, the sound goes away. But this
problem only occurs through one of the usb ports, which is the left one. When I plug in the mouse in the left usb port, there is a beeping noise, but when I plug it into the right usb port, I hear no beeping noise.

Is this an issue with my laptop? or just something needs to be upgraded in my system?

Disable beep sound when plugging/unplugging laptop charger

I would suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

Disable the PC Speakers and check if it helps.

• Right click on Sound Icon in the task bar and go to Playback devices.
  
• Select Speaker and click on properties.
  
• Go to Levels tab, and mute (or you can reduce it) PC Speaker and check if it helps.
  

 

Disable beep sound when plugging/unplugging laptop charger

My laptop makes an annoying beep sound whenever I plug or unplug the charger.

Windows 8.1/Windows 10:

Disable the System Speaker device:

1. Open "Device Manager".
   
2. Scroll down to "System Devices".
   
3. Click on "+"
   
4. Right click on "System Speaker".
   
5. Select "Disable"
   
6. Restart your computer.
   

Beep should be permanently disabled.
