Plugging In Headset Not Recognized On Zoom Calls-Win 11

When i plug in my headset, Windows shows the box asking what I plugged in. I choose Headset with Microphone. If I play a YouTube Video or iTunes, I hear it on the headset. When I am on a Zoom call, the sound comes out of the speakers and the microphone is the one on the computer. It ignores the headset. I can even go into sound settings see below and force it to default to the headset but the sound is coming out of the speakers and the mic is the computer's mic. I can have a song playing on iTunes coming through the headset at the same time the audio for the Zoom call is coming out of the spe

  2. Headset Not Recognized on Lenovo V15-IGL (Windows 11)

    Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble with my Rampage Prestige Virtual 7.1 Surround Gaming Headset (model SN-RW77). When I plug it into my Lenovo V15-IGL running Windows 11, the RGB lights don't turn on, and the headset isn't recognized by my PC. Here's what I've tried:

    1. Tried All USB Ports
    2. Restarted PC
    3. Driver Installation
    4. Compatibility Mode
    5. Device Manager Checks
    6. Power Management Settings
    Specifications:

    • Lenovo V15-IGL
    • Windows 11
    • USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports tested
    Symptoms:

    • RGB lights on the headset do not turn on.
    • Headset not recognized in Device Manager or sound settings.
    • Sound continues to come out of the laptop's speakers.
Any advice or potential solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

!!!UPDATE!!! I tried the headset on another pc and i faced the same problem..

UPDATE: It was a software issue, i did reset the pc using Windows 11, version 23H2 (repair version). After installation i plugged in the headset and nothing happened but after 2 minutes i guess the headset finally worked yay!!!!!

  3. Headset mike not recognized - can't open Audio Manager

You could try going into settings and running the 'Troubleshooter'. Although this might not work as I think it may be a software/driver issue.

Ah okay. I have had a look at the manufacture Nubwo, and there doesn't seem to be any official drivers or software listed.

Thus I would suggest we try and uninstall everything related to the headset, and then let everything install automatically, as it had done on the other desktop (assuming everything was automatically configured, and it just worked).

1.) See if you can first remove the Realtek Audio Manager 1.0.0.222 software by uninstalling it.
    • Settings > Apps > Click on the app and select 'Uninstall.'

2.) After that right click on Start menu (*Start) and select 'Device Manager'
    • Under the 'View' tab, select 'Show hidden devices'
    • Then click on the arrow before 'Sound, video and game controllers' as well as 'Audio inputs and outputs' (this should drop down to reveal a list of audio drivers and headsets)
    • I can help you with which driver (in relation to your headset) to uninstall, if you post back with a screenshot.

Optional.) Or if you are comfortable with knowing which driver to uninstall, then do so
    • Right click on the driver name > Uninstall (Check 'delete software for this device'). Perform a restart and plug the headset back in.

    Hi Tamal,

I would suggest you to try the steps below and get back to us with the status to assist you further.

    • Switch your phone off and on. After this operation, you may need to re-adjust the volume.
    • Check that your compatible wired headset is properly plugged into your phone.
    • Connect your headset to another phone to check if the issue is with the headset or the phone.
    Thank You.
