Windows 10: Pluging an headseat notification.

When I used to plug in my headset it used to always pop a notification what am I plugin in and you can choose between mic, headphones, etc,. But now suddenly when I plug in my headset with a jack 4, with mic it doesn't pop up. And I really need it to pop up and change what is being pluged in because otherwise it doesn't connect my mic.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

You may just turn them off the notification as you need.

 

I update my N800 to os2008 but sometimes doesnt allow to activate the headseat bt mode.

when i finished to upgrade the system. it find the bluetooth headseat and turn on the icon with the headseat and work like a charm. however I install skype, pidgin and camera. and when i connect the nokia bluetooth to the devices. it doesnt appear the icon
headseat and because of that. i cannot call across the headseat. even when is already connected. HOW I CAN TURN ON THE ICON HEADSET TO WORK WITH? sometimes when i deactivatethe bluetooth. and remove the bt headseat. and reinitiate the nokia n800 and add again
the bt headseat. and activate bluetooth is when randomly turn the icon headseat and allow to talk with the bt headseat. but barely the headseat bt is working? what can i do. thanks
