Windows 10: PNP Detected Fatal Error message on laptop keeps coming up, restarts itself, comes back on...

This is not on my own laptop, this is on another one. It started happening today after Dell settings advised to update drivers from Dell Assist, which we started doing. Since then, the laptop comes up with this PNP fatal error message and turns itself off, supposedly restarting itself. When it turns back on and you log in, it comes on for 2 minutes, but then message shows again and turns itself off. The QR code steps given did not help the issue and the laptop is still doing the same thing. What can be done to help this? Urgent need for assistance!

After upgrading to windows 10, the computer is always giving me a blue screen with sad face and says that its a pnp detected fatal error . Then the computer restarts automatically . I searched a lot for answers but it was worthless ! Please help ...

Hi,

I'm running Win10, latest updates.

I have just done a VMware update and when finished it wanted a reboot.

However, after the system has rebooted, I can log in and then after a minute I get the BSoD with the error "PNP Detected Fatal Error".

I'm struggling to guess what VMWare might have overwritten so I could perhaps replace one or more files manually.

Any thoughts much appreciated.
