    HP Truevision HD Camera Not Working

    If your HP Truevision HD camera is not working, it seems to me that the logical step is to contact HP. They owe you a working camera, right?

    HP Truevision HD Camera Not Working

    My HP Truevision HD Camera is not working. I turn on the "Camera" App and the camera light turns on but the screen is pitch black. I open the Cyberlink YouCam app and it displays the following warning "YouCam cannot connect to your webcam (HP Truevision
    HD). I have tried the following steps to no avail:

    1. Ensured I have the most up to date driver

    2. Uninstalled camera via device manager and restarted the computer

    3. I have turned off my McAfee Firewall and tried the camera again.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Installing HP TrueVision HD Camera

    I have started using ZOOM and can not start my video. On my laptop monitor it shows HP TrueVision HD next to the camera eye.

    On my Desktop it shows: CyberLink YouCAM

    I have been trouble shooting and I received this error message:

    0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>

    Please help.
