Windows 10: pointing mouse to the bottom of the screen, my taskbar pops up all of a sudden

it is annoying, is there a way to turn this off?

Are you referring to taskbar preview window pop-ups?



If yes, there is no option to disable the taskbar window pop-ups when you hover the mouse, this is by design.

However you may Auto-hide taskbar by following the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Right click on the taskbar and select properties.
  
• 
  In the Taskbar tab, Place a tick mark for Auto-hide the taskbar.
  

You may provide your suggestions in the feedback app.

Follow the steps:

• Go to Start, enter the phrase Windows Feedback, and then select Windows Feedback.
• See if someone else has given similar feedback by entering the topic, such as Microsoft Music.
• If you find similar feedback, select it, add any details, and then select Me too.
• To narrow your search to a specific category, pick the category that most closely matches your feedback (so it gets to the right people quickly). For example, for feedback about the Music app, select Apps > Music.
• If you don’t find any similar feedback, select New Feedback, and choose a topic from Select a category and then select a subcategory.

How do I get the Taskbar to pop up in Full screen mode?

One of the things I like about the Edge browser is that when in full screen mode it "pops down" to show open browser tabs when the mouse is moved to the top of the screen.

I like my Taskbar hidden and, when not in Full Screen, it "pops up" on mouse contact.

However, when in Full Screen with Edge, the Taskbar won't pop up, I have to use the Windows button to get it to show.

Is there a setting to make the Taskbar pop up in Full screen mode when the mouse rolls over it?

Taskbar won't show when I mouse to bottom of screen

This started after I installed the Creator update two days ago. It was working fine before.

I want the taskbar to show when I mouse down to the bottom of the screen. Since the update it will only show when there are no other windows open and disappear when I move the mouse away. So if I open a browser window then go to the bottom of the screen to maybe start another app the taskbar doesn't show and I cannot then access my apps.

I don't know if this has been raised before as I cannot find anything on a search but I would like to get the taskbar 'hiding and showing' when I mouse on the bottom of the screen.

Any suggestions please?
