Windows 10: Polish characters don't work anymore

    Polish characters don't work anymore


    I noted that using the Polish programmers keyboard, I cannot write Polish characters anymore using ALT-GR. The alternative: CTRL + left ALT + letter works.Any idea what could have happened?

    I'm working on an Excel spreadsheet and I've changed to the Polish keyboard and used Alt Gr to get all the special characters and they all work fine except ziet - the z with a dot over it. Alt Gr + z gives a strange pop-up window. Any ideas?

    If you mean did I set my system language to Polish, no. It's actually in Irish. What I do is use the Windows key + spacebar to cycle through the keyboards as I need.

    This was the same setup when I could get that character. And it is only this one Polish character that has stopped working. Polish has many diacritics, and using the keyboard now I can type: ń ż ź ą ę, all are working fine.

    In my new PC, which I haven't changed to Irish, system-wise, it is the same story.

    I am referring to adding Polish keyboard and not change the language of Windows to Polish.

    In this case, please open start and search for feedback and open Feedback Hub
    app and report this issue and make sure add reproduce step.
