Windows 10: Poor quality on all but one headset, on only one pc

I've recently gotten two new headphones for Christmas, both of which are very high quality Sony and Steelseries arctis 4 and sound great on every device except for my personal computer. Ive tried other windows computers and they sound just fine. My computer does this for every single audio device I own other than my steelseries arctis 1. With any other audio device, the audio is less immersive and almost distant-sounding I feel like I can hear the audio coming from the headphones rather than it sounding like its in my head, if that makes sense?. Im wondering if its an audio driver, however

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Poor audio quality from Bluetooth headphones

2. Are you aware of any changes being made on the PC?
   
3. What is the make and model of the PC?
   

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



Method 1:



Run the troubleshooter for Bluetooth.

1. Go to Settings > Updates & Security > Troubleshoot.
   
2. Under Find and fix other problems click on
   Bluetooth.
   
3. Follow the instructions on the troubleshooter.
   

Method 2:



Try updating the Bluetooth drivers. Refer the article to

update drivers in Windows 10.

How to fix poor sound quality from a bluetooth speaker? (Harman Kardon go + play mini)?

I just bought Harman/Kardon go + play mini. When I use bluetooth connection via iPhone everything is ok. When I connect using my PC with OS Windows 10 I have very poor quality sound. My PC is an Asus Vivobook S15 S510UN-BQ162T.

What I see clicking on speaker icon:



As soon as I try to change volume or play any music it disappears from drop list of that icon. Chosen device sets to default speakers of my laptop.

That what I see in sound menu:



(Sorry for russian, need to reinstall OS to change language because it's single language version)

We are interested in Speakers ( = Динамики) with name HK GO + PLAY Stereo and in headset headphones ( = наушники гарнитуры) with name HK GO + PLAY Hands-Free. If to connect using headset headphones it works but with poor quality. Speakers as I said disconnects as soon as I try to play any sound.

Under speakers icon there is notice that connection aborted. In context menu I press connect and nothing happens.

I tried to delete my device from device manager, switch off auto update of devices and restore system using point of restore, to update drivers, to reconnect device, to reload system.

I guess we somehow need to force sound go through that HK GO + PLAY Stereo speakers.

How can I fix the poor sound quality from the bluetooth speaker?
