Windows 10: Poor System Performance since updating Windows 10 to 1909

We are seeing quite a few system faults with explore.exe with quite a few of our users. We see this app fault consistenly with some users and it is causing performance issues, windows movement lag and video lag. We have adjusted Performance options to best performance and Processor scheduling to adjust for best performance of Programs. Any advice on what to try next?


Also I find it difficult to decipher these error message to really give us an idea of where to look to resolve these issues.

• Once your PC restarts, on the Choose an option screen, tap or click

• If you don't see the Startup Settings option, tap or click advanced options.
• Tap or click Startup Settings.
• Tap or click Restart.
• On the Startup Settings screen, choose the Safe Mode.
• Sign in to your PC with a user account that has administrator rights.

Step 2: Perform Clean Boot.

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
