Windows 10: Popping noise through speakers from a new HP Desktop

I have a new HP desktop that produces a popping noise through the speakers. I have used different speakers, and performed the HP troubleshooting steps and I still have the problem. The noise happens randomly, every 15 minutes or so. The computer was replaced with a new one, and I still have the popping. It does not pop with a bluetooth speaker and it doesn't pop when playing a CD. HP support has not helped at all. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Noise

HP, Pavilion Desktop PC. model 590-p0050 Windows 10. The doink-doink noise is coming thru the speakers.

It only occurs when the computer goes into sleep mode. Windows 10 doesn't have "control panel" listing.

Speakers and headphones work at the same time

• Have you tried connecting your headphones directly to your desktop?
• Does your speaker work normally when connected to your desktop?

You may try the following steps to help resolve your concern:

• Unplug or Disconnect your speaker from the desktop.
• Connect your headphone directly to the desktop.

If the headphone works properly when directly connected to the desktop, we suggest that you contact your speaker manufacturer for assistance.

HP vp17 integrated speakers not working

I have a new HP computer running Windows 10. I connected an HP vp17 monitor with integrated speakers that won't work. I have changed the audio cord and checked for updated drivers. When external speakers are plugged into the audio on the pc, they work fine but not the speakers on the monitor. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
