Today it just suddenly became popping sound whenever I play a round. From volume control and YouTube and any application.

I've tried uninstalling restart then reinstalling driver but to no avail. I doubt it's an hardware issue because even when I plug in or on bluetooth it still sounds this way.

System is a Asus ROG GL552V Australia set. There's possibly no warranty as I've brought it over to another country

I don't have a google drop box account so I can't listen to your sample.

Download and run the Resplendence Latency Mon program. That may help to pinpoint what is causing the problem. Popping, crackling, dropouts were common on Windows 7, but I haven't seen much posted about the problems on Win 10. Have you recently installed anything or updated anything? But run the Latency Mon program and see what it shows.

Same issue Im having, searched what seems like a million forums with no answers. DPC drop outs from NDIS.sys and TCPIP.sys are causing the issues. Reverted to old network card and sound card drivers, deleted unused drivers, power management at max / performance. No solutions. Fustrating

I've NEVER fixed a problem with the Microsoft Troubleshooter.

If this is a laptop with Wi-Fi, that is a known cause.

When the speakers are switched on for the first time, after having running my PC, they permanently pop. Twisting or wiggling the cables/plug around doesn't help. When I turn them off then, plug them out and back in, and then turn them on, the still pop. When I leave them on, plug them out and back in, the popping is gone. When I turn them off, restart my PC and then turn them on again, they pop again. If I leave them on while restarting, they don't pop.Tried with another speakers like this (just 2 plain speakers, no 2.1 system) and didn't have any popping. Restarted my PC several times, but nothing. With the 2.1 system I get popping without exception -.-I totally forgot about the trying the front jack on my PC, so I will do that now. Also I will try the speaker system on another PC, but that will probably have to wait until tomorrow, because I don't just have a spare PC lying around *Biggrin .

I get this on my sb xfi titanium too. I also have horrendous sound after the creators update. Seems to me its something to do with windows 10 and drivers. There is something borked with the adjustment from 2.1 speakers to a surround system, in my opinion that causes these problems.
