Windows 10: Popup disappears when I click "Sign In" for Microsoft Family

So my parents removed me from the Microsoft family because it's annoying when I am doing stuff. But it still blocks stuff because I'm not signed in for it to register the change. Then whenever I click sign in this happens

Parental controls stopped working. Family.Microsoft.com has alert: "Your family member needs to sign in to their Windows 10 device AngLaptop2014 for family features to work.

But the "how to fix this" says

• Select Accounts > Family & other people
• Under Your family, select your family member, then select Allow
• Have your family member sign in with their Microsoft account if asked to

And the steps don't apply. The account is already allowed, and there is no option to change that.

Now what???

 

Microsoft family features - being spammed by popups telling me to sign in

Hello,

Recently, I have been getting a popup from Microsoft Family Features telling me to sign in. It has been spamming me with it every couple minutes.

Any fixes? I have tried ending the "Family Safety Monitor" task via the Task Manager but that does not work. When I do click sign in, it gives me a "Please wait.." and it goes on for a very long time.

It seems that your Microsoft account was added to a family. You may turn off or stop using the family features Microsoft provides, here's how:

• From a web browser, go to
  Accounts and sign in with the Microsoft account of an adult in the family.
• To remove a child, choose Remove at the top of the section labeled
  Select a child to view or edit their settings.
  • To remove an adult, including the account you used to sign in with, choose
    Remove at the tops of the Adults section. If you're the only adult in the family, you'll need to remove all the kids before you can remove yourself.
• Select the person you want to remove from the family.
• Select the Remove button that appears when you've chosen the person to remove.
