Windows 10: popup setting on desktop away from icons but on the edge of the bar .

there is a glitch/bugg when you mouse over your speaker on the desktop you will see a popup from that setting.like with me it is : SpeakersRealtekR Audio: 91%When you move your cursor someplace else on the edge of the bar. away from the volume and network iconsyou will see the same popup again....anyone else got this ?

Cannot find Desktop Icon in File Explorer

Now that is interesting. If I do what you suggest, File Explorer Address bar changes to C:\Users\username\documents and the missing ICONS are there. But there is still not a "Desktop" folder.

Is this a step in the right direction?

 

Cannot set home button icon Microsoft Edge

The workaround is not a solution as I stated. It merely create an button on the Favorite Bar!

Please follow davidhk's suggestion. You may have to run SFC /scannow three times in order to correct the file corruption problem!

• Type Microsoft edge in the search bar, right click on the Microsoft Edge and select
  Pin to start option.
• Click on the start icon and, drag and drop the Microsoft Edge icon from the start screen onto the Desktop.
• Same Step 1 and Step 2 follows for the Printer icon.

Follow the below walk around if the issue persists:

You can search the Microsoft Edge and Printer from the place where your OS is installed (Like C:\) then you can right click on those file and select
Create shortcut option.
