Windows 10: Portable Windows 10 takes 33 mins to boot up and suddenly unstable/ running slow

Bonjour, Here are my specs: HP Elitebook 84016GB 2400 DDR4 RAM 512GB SSDi7 1165GWindows To Go 10Boots from USB Long story short. It would randomly freeze and blue screen and id have to restart it. Did that before on the Windows to Go/Portable drive before this one too. Im no newb so Ive done the essentials. Complete virus scans and disabled almost all startup programs. This helped initially. There was no viruses.Used both Kaspersky and hitman pro. Registry looked ok. But now it goes so slow that even after taking 20+ mins to start about 15 jus on the splash screen and another 10+ to load

I was having a slow boot issue on my Windows 7 install a little while back. It would take about 30 - 40 extra seconds to boot up for whatever reason.

I would try following these steps, while this didn't solve my issue, it did increase Read/Write to where it should be.

In the end, I had to reinstall my Windows 7 entirely to fix the booting issue. It was taking around 35 seconds to boot, and after the fresh install it takes about 7 seconds to boot.

Just done a fresh install of windows 10. Still got the same problem.
Turn pc on from cold or a restart. Hangs on the win boot logo for a minute or so then boots in to the desktop
cant work it out why its so slow to boot up? any ideas*Mad

Wow you were so right just done a fresh install with just the ssd connected. Takes like 10 secs to boot into windows not like 3 mins anymore.*Smile
