    Position of File Explorer

After reconfiguring my PC with Win 10, twice because of update failures, once completed I've tried to reposition File Explorer on the right side of my screen.

I can in fact reposition it, but once I close it and launch it again, it reverts back to the left side of screen, and it was stationary BEFORE this last reconfiguration.

I've tried all the miracle suggestions but it has been to no avail, including but not limited to going to View tab, selecting options, and proceeding with instructions...many instructions, and it ain't working.

Another unhelpful suggestion was while on Desktop, right click and open "View", and unclick "Align icons to grid"...didn't work.

I've even gone into Setup, in Personalization, Themes, Desktop Icon settings...NOTHING WORKS.

At this juncture, I'm accepting all reasonable suggestions.

    :)
