    positive idea for a Bootkit

Ok I belive I know what your thinking but lets not go there. To start off I want to know if its possible to make one for my pc specifcally for security reasons as I find most of the bios's come standard with a password lock but it can be flushed. I would like to go another step forward for my pc and modify the default bios to have a bootkit even if it gets flushed. I want one on mine so if it gets stolen or lost or a new hard drive gets put in because they were not smart enough to crack bitlocker/ other encryption They would have the software silently installed on the OS then I could either have full acess to the pc or beable to track its location. If it is connected to a network and have acess to the webcam to allow taking photos to reveal who has it then sending it to an email.
Just an idea tell me what you think
Sorry if I used any incorrect terms or if my spelling is bad.

    :)

A very ambitious idea I will grant you that. But I would consider the idea as hopelessly impractical. This is a nice sounding idea, until confronted with the harsh facts of reality. And they are harsh.

  5. Most thieves do not bother reinstalling, they just start using stolen computer as it is, there have been cases, that they took photos and videos and they have got uploaded to owner's cloud storage. Remote camera control is even easier. So do not prevent access to OS, that would only force them to reinstall.
