Windows 10: Possible false Code Integrity Event ID 3033 for Dropbox vulkan-1 DLL.

I see regular Windows Event Log ID 3033 on my Windows 10 laptop AND on my Windows 11 Desktop PC.It is reporting ONLY that the Dropbox vulkan-1.dll "did not meet the Microsoft signing level requirements": "Code Integrity determined that a process\Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files x86\Dropbox\Client\Dropbox.exeattempted to load\Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files x86\Dropbox\Client\224.4.4811\vulkan-1.dllthat did not meet the Microsoft signing level requirements."QUESTIONS:1: I assume that the message means that the vulkan DLL was NOT loaded in the parent process chain? 2: As there was

Deleting Dropbox

As you are issue is concerned to deleting the Dropbox, we will help you with this issue.

• Do let us know the complete error message/ error code of this issue?
• Are you referring to Dropbox icon/ application on Windows 10?

If you are referring to Dropbox app on your device, try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: If the Dropbox is preloaded on your desktop:

• Click Start.
• Click Settings.
• Click System.
• Click Apps & features.
• Select Get Dropbox or Dropbox X GB from the application list, where "X" is the amount of space corresponding to your promotion.
• Click Uninstall.

Step 2: If the Dropbox is a desktop app follow:

• Press Windows + X, click on Control Panel.
• Under Programs, select Uninstall a program.
• Select Dropboxfrom the list of programs, and click Uninstall.

Code Integrity for amdhdl64.dll

In the event viewer, I noticed an error.



Code Integrity determined that the page hashes of an image file are not valid. The file could be improperly signed without page hashes or corrupt due to unauthorized modification. The invalid hashes could indicate a potential disk device error.

File Name: \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Windows\System32\amdhdl64.dll

I've checked the amdhdl64.dll showing in the following figure.



Is it normal? Shall I do anything to fix this issue?

In-order to get more clarity on this issue and to assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, reply with answers to the below questions:

1. Are you aware of any changes made on your PC, prior to this issue?
   
2. Is this issue specific while playing a particular game?
   
3. Which edition of Windows are you currently using?
   

A Kernel Power Event 41 can occur in the following scenarios.

Scenario 1: The computer restarts, and there is a Stop error BugcheckCode in the event data.

Scenario 2: The computer is shut down by pressing and holding the power button.

Scenario 3: The system randomly restarts and no Stop error BugcheckCode is listed, or the computer is completely unresponsive (hard hang).

I suggest you refer the article on Kernel
Power Event ID 41 and follow the steps for the scenario that is causing this error on your PC.

Additionally, you can refer the article on Windows
Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" in Windows
and check if that helps.
