  1. Possible malware in startup apps?

There is a app in the startup section of task manager with "8b02f8e2-c035-42fc-8694-ea8efd2a4d28" as the name. The properties are disabled and searching online shows a remote access trojan being likely what it is. It's been disabled on startup but I'm unable to find where it is located or get rid of it. Any ideas on steps moving forward?

    :)

  2. My pc takes for ever to shut down when i restart

Suggest cleaning up your startup list .There may be many services / Apps you can remove on startup which is not needed on boot or during shutdown.
Before you shutdown the Pc check what is running in Task Manager as a program or service in not killing the process on shutdown

Would suggest cleaning up running apps and services -Autoruns, StartupMonitor,HighjackThis,
    Malware Scan - Malwarebytes,ADWcleaner, Combofix

There's no list of suggested startup apps - it depends entirely on you.

Everyone has different needs. What do you need to start with Windows?

If you have an anti-malware application, as you should, that should start even before Windows. Most anti-malware applications set themselves up that way automatically.

After that, it's really up to you. Some people like to have lots of things starting with Windows. Other like to have as little as possible. Only you can decide.
